Rekisterin suojauksen periaatteet

Access rights to data materials are limited only to those persons who need to process them in order to perform their work tasks. The rights are removed when the need for use ends. Use of the register requires logging in with your own usernames.

Tarkastusoikeus

Every person has the right, if they wish, to check the information about themselves from the register. Information should be inquired from the address admissions@laurea.fi or from the registry's contact person.

Oikeus vaatia tiedon korjaamista

Without undue delay, the controller must, on its own initiative or at the request of the data subject, correct, delete or supplement personal data in the register that is incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete or out of date in terms of the purpose of the processing (Personal Data Act § 29).
Every person entered in the register has the right to request correction of the information concerning him, if there are errors in it. Requests to correct errors should be sent to the registry's contact person, who will acknowledge the error as corrected.
The information will be corrected without undue delay. If the correction of information is refused, a written certificate of refusal will be given. The registered person has the right to refer the matter to Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman at the address: Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, P.O. Box 800, 00531 Helsinki, Finland, E-mail: tietosuoja(at)om.fi.
Data Protection Ombudsman can give the data controller an order to correct the data.
