E-lomake - Accessibility report

This accessibility report was updated on October 10th, 2024. The accessibility of the service was self-assessed with the WAVE tool and the NVDA screen reader.

Status of digital service

The digital service meets critical accessibility requirements. Inacessible elements will be fixed in future versions.

General

Do note that the contrast between the background and font color depends on customer-specific form styles.

If uploading a file on a form fails, the focus of the keyboard and the screen reader doesn't move to the notification that appears at the top of the page.

Perceivable

1.1.1 Non-text content

The screen reader can't find the hover info text of fields.

1.3.1 Info and relationships

The header element of the text field table is empty, and the headers of some fields and the fields themselves (i.e. fieldsets) do not have a legend. However, the purpose of a table is described by the field's header and its row and column headers, and headers and fields without a legend are connected by labels in the source code.

Operable

2.1.1 Keyboard

If the data that a user inputs on the form has errors, the warning icon next to a field can't be reached by a keyboard, which means that the user might not see its hover text. A notification with a list of errors, however, appears as a pop-up when the user tries to submit the form, and the notification shows up next to the field that has errors.

2.4.1 Bypass blocks

The text field table has an accesskey attribute, which might conflict with keyboard shortcuts that users have set up when using assistive technology.
